AFL • AFL - Air distribution system

The CAIROX AFL air distribution system is designed for distribution of supply and exhaust air in residential ventilation and small utility applications. The system is available in Ø75mm, the perfect diameter for projects.

The CAIROX AFL air distribution system is specially designed for projects on precast wideslabs. Thanks to the locking system with U-shaped locking pins, the connections on the distribution boxes and the valve adapters can withstand the strong tensile forces of pouring concrete.

The AFL air distribution boxes AFL-DB are also very robustly built to withstand the impacts on construction sites.

Thanks to the compact design of the AFL-VA valve adapters, the system is also very suitable for renovations. The use of the AFL-CC cross pieces is ideal for applications with limited installation height. They ensure that the installation height does not change when crossing with other techniques. When using 2 AFL-CC cross pieces, AFL-FLEX crossings can also be made without sacrificing the height of the duct.

The AFL-FLEX ducts can be used for both C and D systems. For apparent and built-in applications, new build and renovation, large construction projects and indiviudal homes.

• The use of AFL-DR sealing rings ensures air tightness class D throughout the system.
• The ducts and fittings with antistatic and antibacterial properties ensure a hygienic duct system that can also be cleaned perfectly if necessary.
• All openings in the system are supplied with sealing caps to prevent dust and dirt infiltration. The caps on connections for AFL-FLEX ducts are also equipped with rubber sealing rings.
• The processing temperature of the system is between -15°C and +55°C.

• The AFL air distribution system consists of 3 important parts: air distribution boxes AFL-DB, valve adapters AFL-VA and flexible ducts AFL-FLEX.
• AFL-DB: Air distribution boxes with both horizontal and vertical main connections up to Ø200mm, and respectively up to 16 AFL-FLEX connections.
• AFL-VA: Valve adapters available in horizontal and vertical versions with 2 or 3 connections.
• AFL-FLEX: Flexible ducts with a high impact resistance.
