ETERA HT/H Passive Cooling • Geothermal heat pumps

The ETERA heat pump from KRONOTERM is designed for energy-efficient and environmentally friendly heating of homes or buildings. This geothermal heat pump uses the constant temperature of the earth to efficiently generate heat for both space heating and the production of domestic hot water. Thanks to the use of geothermal energy, the ETERA heat pump provides significant energy savings and reduces CO₂ emissions. Kronoterm is also known for developing quiet heat pumps, which contributes to a comfortable indoor climate without noise pollution. The ETERA in HT/H Passive Cooling version can only heat and has a built-in passive cooling module. The ETERA PC only exists in the "Small" version of 2-9 kW.

Application

  • Heating: During cold months, the ETERA heat pump provides efficient heating for your home or building.​
  • Passive cooling: In the summer months, the built-in plate exchanger for passive cooling allows rooms to be cooled without compressor operation. This maintains a comfortable indoor climate.
  • Hot water production: The ETERA provides a constant supply of hot water for domestic use throughout the year.​

  • Compact and quiet: The ETERA takes up less than 0.5 m² of floor space and operates with a sound pressure level of only 27 dB at 1 m, making the system barely audible.
  • High efficiency: The ETERA has a seasonal efficiency (SCOP) of 8.17 when using groundwater as the heat source, which means that for every kWh of electricity consumed, 8.17 kWh of useful heat is delivered.
  • Heat sources: Compatible with brine/water systems with both vertical and horizontal ground collectors.
  • Smart control: Equipped with the CLOUD.KRONOTERM system, allowing users, free online, to remotely control the heat pump via a mobile or web application, including setting heating and cooling schedules and monitoring energy consumption.
  • Well-regulated: At least one KT-2A controller is always required per ETERA installation. The KT-2A can function as a controller, thermostat or as a combination of controller/thermostat

Casing made of white powder-coated, galvanized steel sheets:

  • HYDRO B/1F1 200 L hot water boiler module for right-hand mounting on ETERA, without side panels. ETERA and HYDRO B form 1 unit after installation.
